By nature, handmade ceramics are breakable objects. We produce our pots with love and care, and fire them to 2,232 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes them microwave- and dishwasher-safe. That said, we recommend you take care when washing—haphazard placement in a dishwasher, soapy sink, or drain rack can increase the risk of cracking or breakage. Never place pottery mason ceramics on a stovetop. Sudden increases in temperature can cause thermal shock, which leads to broken pottery. Take care of your pottery, and it’ll take care of you!
SHIPPING & HANDLING
All commissions and orders placed online are shipped from our studio in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. To maintain work-life balance, we package and ship pots during business hours Monday through Friday.
Once your order is packaged and shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping notification within 3 business days of placing your order, please reach out to us at email@example.com or 302-313-1335. To minimize time in the mail system (and thus reduce risk of damage), we typically ship priority via UPS or the United States Postal Service (USPS). Priority shipping methods usually deliver within 3 to 5 business days. We can estimate for you, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates—we aren’t a postal service!
pottery mason is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, and we are unable to refund or replace pots in case of a loss. Once a package leaves our studio, it’s in the hands of the shipping gods.
We ask that you shop thoughtfully, to avoid buyer’s remorse. We try not to take returns unless the pot is faulty in some way (either broken or chipped in transit). Please reach out within 7 days of purchase for a return request, and we will issue any refund due to you within 30 days of receiving your request.
