ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Whether you’re a local or here on your beach vacation, these one-time introductory wheel-throwing workshops are a great way to try pottery for the first time and have some fun doing something new at the beach. This is a 2-hour lesson at the pottery wheel. Your teacher, Audrey, will start with a brief demonstration on using the pottery wheel, and then you’ll try it out on your own, with step-by-step guidance. This is your opportunity to make your own clay creation: a small bowl, cup, or dish… or a wonky vase! This class is geared to people with little or no experience with pottery, so you will be in good company. — Classes last between 1.5 and 2 hours — The cost is $85 per person — Adults only (18+). We’re sorry, but our pottery studio is not set up for kiddos! — Make 1 to 2 pieces on the pottery wheel — Pick a glaze of your choice — your creations will be finished and ready to pick up or ship to you in 6 weeks — All materials, tools, and clay provided — Aprons are provided, but please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! — This is a single session workshop, NOT a weekly recurring class Our pottery wheel workshops are great for small bachelorette parties, date nights, and groups of friends looking for something new and artsy to do at the Delaware beaches. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule 14 days in advance (or earlier), you will receive a full refund or be rescheduled at no cost. Contact us via email at info@potterymason.com or text (no calls) at 302-313-1553 to cancel or reschedule at least 14 days in advance. Refunds are ONLY provided if we are contacted at least 14 days before the scheduled workshop. If canceled within 14 days, there will be NO refund provided, as cancellation too close to a workshop makes it very hard for us to rebook your spot, resulting in a loss of income for our very small business. We appreciate your understanding!
