Private Workshop for Maura's Group

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This is a 3-hour private lesson at the pottery wheel for Maura's group. Our studio has 4 student wheels, so students will need to swap out to each have a turn to throw. Your teacher, Audrey, will start with a brief demonstration on using the pottery wheel, and then you’ll try it out on your own, with step-by-step guidance. This is your opportunity to make your own clay creation: a small bowl, cup, or dish… or a wonky vase! This class is geared to people with little or no experience with pottery, so you will be in good company. — Expect class to last roughly 3 hours — The cost is $85 per person — Adults only (16+). We’re sorry, but our pottery studio is not set up for kiddos! — Make 1 to 3 pieces on the pottery wheel — Pick a glaze of your choice — your creations will be finished and ready to pick up or ship to you in 6 weeks — All materials, tools, and clay provided — Aprons are provided, but please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! — This is a single session workshop, NOT a weekly recurring class We look forward to seeing you!
